Research Capabilities

TDG Analytics provides the data TDG Analytics provides the data and quantitative insights companies need to master two integrally-related trends: the innovation curve and the demand curve. Delivering world-class analytics requires in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, a thorough understanding of consumer behavior, and a concrete knowledge of the underlying technologies.

To date, we have helped over 250 companies manage the chaotic shifts inherent to consumer technology through a multitude of analytical products:

            • Syndicated reports;
            • Collaborative Client (C2) primary research;
            • Advanced custom research; and
            • Our unique TDG Member program.

TDG Analytics – accurate, independent, in front of the curve.

Syndicated Reports

Each year, TDG Analytics produces between 12 and 15 syndicated research reports, each focused on a topic of central concern to those in the broadband media and connected home space. Unlike most “research houses,” our syndicated reports are written by expert consultants and researchers, not junior analysts who have the unfortunate luck of being assigned research reports on topics about which they know little if anything about, much less possess real-world experience.

Syndicated reports include detailed market analysis and forecasts on key industry segments; strategic insights on emerging or evolving industries; and consumer research featuring “snapshots” from TDG’s larger C2 projects.

Uniquely, TDG does not produce an annual calendar of research reports. This unique disposition gives us the flexibility to respond in real-time to market trends and Member input. This means TDG Members directly impact the direction of TDG’s syndicated report schedule, thus saving them tens of thousands of dollars on custom research.

During 2008, TDG produced syndicated research reports on a variety of subjects, with titles including:
